Yes you are wrong is a project to remind us all how wrong we are about everything. This is not only fun, but also salutory! Many stupid arguments exist in the world because we're phenomenally wrong about large numbers; we don't even have a sense of scale for various important things in the world (and even in the universe). Getting a sense of scale for those numbers would be great, but also just realising how little we know about them is a useful tonic.

Recently I've been coding while listening to one song on repeat for 2 days straight. Most people think that sounds like hell, and they're probably right. Anyway, this site was written with the unwitting but appreciated help of Dexys Midnight Runners and Martinho Da Vila.
